Message to Gardens' Parents
Our goal, as your PTO board, is to find ways to raise much needed school funds without financially burdening you and your family beyond the burdens we already face in today's economy.
The following information describes ways your family can help earn money for Gardens simply by continuing to make your monthly family purchases or surfing the Internet!
Please take the time to look over the following information and research their sites. Together, we can make a difference one label and/or click at a time!
Got Box Tops!?
Box Tops for Education have conveniently helped our school and teachers earn money!
Since 2002, we earned $12,233. Last school year, we earned $1,063! At 10 cents each, they really add up!
Check out their website for a complete list of "Box Tops for Education" products, and you'll be surprised just how many of them you have at home! Clip them and send them in with your child!
And remember, for every 200 Box Tops teachers collect from their class, PTO directly awards them $10 to use for their students! Please have your child paste their Box Tops to a Collection Worksheet, and please CHECK FOR THE EXPIRATION DATE! We cannot accept Box Tops that have expired.
Campbell's Labels for Education
Campbell's Labels for Education also awards our school educational equipment in exchange for proofs of purchase from items such as Campbell's, Spaghettio's and V8 products amongst several others.
Check out their website for a complete list of 1-point and 5-point items! Again, you'll be surprised just how many you have! Clip them, paste them to a UPC Collection Worksheet (1-point or 5-point) and send them in to your child's teacher! As they say, "Clip, Earn, Help them Learn!"
GoodSearch
GoodSearch is a search engine powered by Yahoo! It allows us to raise money for our school by doing something we do every day- searching the Internet!
50 percent of the revenue GoodSearch makes from its advertisors is given to charities &/or schools! At 1 cent for every search, our school has totaled $104.80 since 2007!
The question asked now is, "Why wouldn't you use GoodSearch!?" Go to www.goodsearch.com. When asked "Who do you GoodSearch for?", type in "Gardens Elementary School", and then let your Internet searching begin! Each click is one cent for Gardens!
GoodShop
Do you Shop On-Line? Maybe from L.L.Bean, Lands' End, Barnes & Noble, eBay, iTunes, Kodak Gallery, Shutterfly, Snapfish... oh the list goes on and on... with over 1,000 stores!
GoodShop is an on-line shopping mall of "world class merchants." Each purchase made via the GoodShop mall results in a percentage given to our school. eBay will donate 25-37.5% of your total purchase to Gardens whereas iTunes will donated 2.5% and Dell Computers will donate 2%.
Who would have guessed all that on-line shopping you do for your family would also benefit their school? It's certainly a good way to shop.
Nestle Labels
Nestle Pure Life Go Play is another wonderful collection program which can provide schools with sports gear or transportation funding towards field trips geared to keeping kids active and healthy!
Buy any Nestle Pure Life Purified Water Products, each product label is equal to 2-Go Play! Points, and simply turn your labels into your child's teacher!
Special Note: The entire product label must be taken off the bottle and turned in. Please do not cut out the UPC label.
My Coke Rewards
Donate your My Coke Rewards points to our school, and we can earn creative supplies, athletic equipment and many other reward available through Coca-Cola.
Feel free to check out Gardens' "My Coke Rewards" points and our school's wish list! You can either collect your bottle tops and turn them in to your child's teacher or redeem them on My Coke Rewards' website and DONATE them to our school yourself!
